Some years later Valerie’s father and mother Carlos & Theresa Sarmiento, bestowed an amazing gift of partnership to their very own body shop. With the goal to give back as much as possible to the community that welcomed them in, where they now call home. Valerie has always felt the need to give back to those who truly go without. So naturally when given the opportunity she took it!  Volunteering for committees, charities, toy drives, and the shop’s “Give back program”. In hopes she will leave a good example for her four beautiful boys, Fabrizio, Jeremy, Manuel JR., and Benjamin.  With the support of her husband Manuel Ruiz, she is able to push forward and work hard to accomplish her goals for her local community.

Valerie is overjoyed to be raising money for Don Ferrarese charitable foundation’s Santa’s sleigh. Who give gifts to children in our local community in the high desert. In hopes to make sure that not one child has to go with out on Christmas. Valerie knows that every child deserves to feel loved, important, and special. She believes in making smiles and giving hope to children in our community. Valerie hopes that this one act of kindness will lead to bigger things in a child’s life, that they do in fact deserve more and are worthy of something better.
